TCA's 2015 Annual Report is now available online.
The report highlights TCA's many programs, projects, and grants in 2015.
TCA Chairman Dr. Yalcin Ayasli stated on the occasion, “Since its founding in 2007, TCA has worked to make a meaningful contribution to advancing the role of civil society and strengthening relations between the United States and Turkey. 2015 was a year of many highlights for TCA. The TCA Study Tour Grants and Study Abroad Scholarship programs provided the opportunity for 195 American university students to study in Turkey. The TCA Washington Summer Internship Program brought 13 young Turkish Americans to work in Washington, DC for congressional offices and non-governmental organizations. TCA’s Second Annual Turkish American Youth Leadership Congress attracted 30 Turkish American college students and recent graduates to Washington, DC to learn more about the U.S.-Turkey relationship and the political systems of both countries. Our outreach to Congress helped grow the Congressional Caucus on U.S.-Turkey Relations and Turkish Americans, and our 17th TCA Congressional Delegation to Turkey brought members of Congress and their staff to Turkey and Bosnia Herzegovina. TCA also hosted a major business forum on the American political system and supported a variety of other projects and community events. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the TCA board and staff, as well as to all of our partners in the Turkish American community and beyond, for their contributions to our common goal of strengthening U.S.-Turkey relations through people-to-people bridges.”
